I'm either too short or I've had my arms pinned and haven't been been able to jump enough to grab at a flying stick.
I did get Lars' stick at SW2013* but that was pure luck that I was off to side of stage and it fell between people's hands and to the ground and I dived to the ground (much like a rugby league star diving across the try line to win the NRL Grand Final) and fought someone else for it

This manlet and i were fighting over an All That Remains drumhead like 6 years ago and I just lifted my arms up really high and he had to like stand on his tiptoes to keep holding it )
