yeah, if I had moral issues with pirating then I'd just do what Satan says. I doubt anyone could say you were being all that immoral by downloading it early when you are planning on buying it a week later.
That said - there is something to be said about getting the album new. Ripping that plastic off and smelling the new CD smell. Then shoving it in your player and listening to it as you check out the awesome artwork and read it front-to-back.
I loved doing that back before I just pirated. pirating wont ever give you that either.
Yea, I just like having the physical. The album art. The booklet. In the case of vinyl, I love getting special colored records. It also just feels more satisfying finding it in a record store.
As far as the moral aspect, its more because im going into the music industry myself. It'd be hypocritical of me to steal music, and expect to make a living off of it at the same time.
