That was my first time seeing both. Serbian Film is fucked up, mainly cuz of the ending, but not as messed up as people made it out to be. Tbh, it sucked overall. Art movie trash
I Spit On Your Grave was good though. Still think I prefer Last House On The Left to it. But good.
It was good. I hear 3 is best. Havent seen the original yet either.
I think Last House On The Left (the original at least) is more unsettling because of how low-fi and gritty it looks. It feels less like a movie and more like a home video.

I liked I Spit On Your Grave but Last House On The Left literally gave me goosebumps. That was some uncomfortable shit and I felt it was grittier. Last House On The Left > I Spit On Your Grave imo. Both good films tho
All my black friends criticized it for exaggerating it’s blackness, so when I watched it that’s all I could think about. Kinda fucked it up for me. I couldn’t even get 3 episodes in
That's the point though. Luke Cage was made by Marvel during the height of blaxploitation. This is pretty much a modernization of that
It’s just too stereotype. And honestly, I’ve watched a shitload of old Blaxploitation movies and Cage falls flat in that aspect anyway. They left out the bravado. He’s too earnest.

3 episodes in and it might be my favorite of the netflix marvel series.
