What other big touring festivals do you guys attend besides Mayhem?

Metal Alliance is one of my favorites. Line up last year kicked ass with Municipal Waste, Exodus, and Anthrax playing fuckin Among the Living in full. One of the best concerts ever. This year is not as great but I bought a ticket for Goatwhore and Behemoth alone.
Gonna be an awesome show those two.

Warped Tour is easily best of the year \m/
Really? Warped Tour? Interesting. I didn't expect that in these servers with all the "Kill Yourself" and everybody calling everyone else fags for their taste in music. Never been to Warped. Just not my style although they always have a few bands I really want to go see but its always like the day before/after Mayhem in IL and I almost never have the money. I heard Less Than Jake was on this year and honestly they are a guilty pleasure band I would love to see.
Shit a fest is a fest man. Long as you have fun and are seeing bands you like, who cares how big a fest it is?

touring festivals are mostly ass. And I'm not sure Metal Alliance is really a festival. it's like 5 bands. It's just a packaged tour.

You make a good point, but its awesome either way. I guess I was kind of counting it because its one of the bigger ones that doesn't suck. Like fucking Carnival of Madness or something.

Why not? 2011 yeah wasn't very good and neither was 2013 but 2012 was amazing. yeah I know it had freakin AA, and Devil Wears Prade but Anthrax, Motorhead, and Slayer was some of the best groups they have had on the bill in Mayhem's history.

i went to the year slayer and motorhead played, that was the last one i was at. i went to the year hatebreed was on the sidestage and LOG was on the main, and the year with behemoth, cc, slayer and kse
I skipped 2012 and went to Knotfest. This year I'm going to Rock USA instead.

Normally just MayhemFest but I'm not going this year. Went to New England Metal Fest last spring for the Metal Alliance bands + Hatebreed, Every Time I Die, and Black Breath. Almost bought a ticket to go again this year but I'm not shelling out that much money just to see Behemoth.
nemahc fest is stacked this year, especially Sunday. All out war, Ramallah, nails!
