Caue Overkill not only has an original sound nd very distinctive vocals and bass in bobby blitz and dd verni but also cause maybe they actually make GOOD MUSIC ya dumbass. Testament, Overkill, Exodus, Death Angel, Kreator << if you can't see that these bands ALL have distinctive sounds and recognizable vibe then u are tone deaf bitch - id say out of that group Overkill ranks #3 - trust me they r not the "average" thrash band who sings abt generic "thrash this , thrash 4life" type topics, and MW would not exist without Overkill and Anthrax. Also, listen to their 80s stuff then listen to their last 4 albums and tell me u dont hear that they just keep getting BETTER.
and MW would not exist without Overkill and Anthrax.
Maybe, but they're a lot better than them now so it's irrelevant. Have fun at the show. It's gonna go down hill real fast after MW. Plus, they do better in smaller venues.
Overkill, Kreator, Anthrax, Slayer, Death Angel, etc. last few albums have been comparable to their classic shit, esp. Kreator, their last one Phantom Antichrist is one of best metal albums of all time
@BeefTorpedo , the tour is in small venues nd also these bands are def not in it for a retirement runo for extra cash - if u followed what theyre doing they are actually making good quality albums and selling shows out - these 2 bands still goin strong
i have liked what i've heard from modern kreator, but slayer's last 2 albums have been duds. dgaf about overkill, lost interest in anthrax during their grunge years and honestly didn't know death angel had new shit
@BeefTorpedo , well besides hob type clubs and arena shows nope dont go to taht many metal shows cause my local scene is absolute SHIT consisting of a nuch of wannabe generic deathcore bands nd stupid pop punk - only venue i go to smaller is abt 250 capacity w/ no stage nd even then - local scene around central il SUCKS!
