    1. Behemoth - The Satanist
    2. Indian - From All Purity
    3. Cynic - Kindly Bent To Free Us
    4. Woods of Desolation – As The Stars
    5. Tempel - On the Steps of the Temple

This is where I stand as of now. New Cyinc was pretty good and may move up after more listens but it just doesn't do as much as the two above do.

Yo Slap, where you get that Temples? Is that the psychedelic group? I meant to go see them for $10 but completely forgot about it. It was the same night as Kvelertak and High on Fire and I completely forgot both.

The past few behmoth records were alright, nothing overly spectacular, but the new one is a fucking massive step up.

cant really rank them yet but I think the Alcest, Behemoth, Cynic, and Woods of Desolation are all really good.

The Iced Earth is pretty bland. I don't know why they went out and got one of the best vocalists in metal to only have him use a tiny fraction of what he is capable of delivering.

The Indian did nothing for me. I don't see the hype with that. The album cover was the best part of it for me.

Top 10 as of Feb 23rd, 2014. Fuck this new Artificial Brain is good. Might top Indian down the road. I love the fact that I've found so much good music this year and I anticipated almost none of it. That just means the stuff I'm looking forward to like new Cormorant, Triptykon and Mastodon is gonna fucking shred.

    1. Indian – From All Purity
    2. Artificial Brain – Labyrinth Constellation
    3. Nothing – Guilty Of Everything
    4. Woods of Desolation – As The Stars
    5. Slough Feg – Digital Resistance
    6. Helms Alee –Sleepwalking Sailors
    7. Cities Aviv – Come To Life
    8. The Body – I Shall Die Here
    9. Ea – A Etilla
    10. Angel Olsen – Burn Your Fire For No Witness
