SOAD should headline sometime too - otherwise they r running out of options for new mainstagers.

Yeah unfortunately. There's a couple songs I like off each album but overall they are both mediocre. I liked the title track, Welcome to the Family, and So Far Away from Nightmare. I was actually surprised by how much I liked Shepard of Fire and Coming Home from Hail to the King but 2/10 songs is just bad. I was really hoping Testament and Dethklok would be on this year. Or Kreator and Overkill. Something new and fresh, ya know?
I agree with you on Avenged the last two albums were not great but any of the older stuff will be cool and they do put on a great show so that will be entertaining.
Rekkr is awful. Even by noise/grind standards. Apparently they consider themselves death-thrash, and consider themselves the God-fathers of the genre. Greggles loves them for some reason.
If Avenged sticks to older stuff it will be decent but they've been promoting Hail to the King up the ass. Not to mention Billboard, the radio, and Loudwire have been jizzing over it, so I'm guessing thats going to be the bulk of their set list.

Yeah I agree their. Overall, Hail to the King was better than Nightmare. Nightmare was all bitchy, whiny bullshit. I understand the loss of a close friend. i really do. But half the album being whiny, crying tribute tracks was fucking annoying. Plus "God Hates Us" was a Slayer rip off without any of the Slayer talent! Hail to the King was boring, but it was better.
