Damn good show. Never really gave BOC a serious listen before the show, but i am going to check them out more now.

Venue - Showcase Live at Patriot Place in Foxboro. first time there, The seating was caberet style which means me and Laurie were sat at a table with total strangers and had a meal at the concert. Food was overpriced but OK. People we were seated with were big BOC fans, and were about 20 years older than me. They were cool. The venue was set up where there was no bad seat, you can see from everywhere. Sound quality was excellent

Opening Act - Luke Mulholland - http://www.myspace.com/lukemulhollandmusic - classic rock / blues band. Played for about 40 minutes. Started and ended their set with instrumentals. Overall sounded very good. If you like bluesy classic rock, check out this band

Blue Oyster Cult - sounded awesome. pleasantly surprised. I went into the show knowing three of their songs (Burnng for You, dont Fear the Reaper and Godzilla) and enjoyed their whole set. They played for 90 minutes. Burning for You was their third song. Godzilla was their third to last song, with a cool bass solo consisting of Rudy Sarza playing a little bit of Quiet Riot's metal health, Ozzy's Crazy Train, whitesnakes still of the night into his bass solo, then a drum solo, before finishing the song. Rudy was in all those bands years ago. The second to last song was Don't Fear the Reaper, which kicked ass live. The Encore was a song i didn't recognize.

Overall a damn good show!
