I do for some reason believe in the possibility of ghosts, or at least some sort of residual energy left behind after we die that can be experienced by those living.
they should have kept the bible going like why stop where they did? i think someone should create a companion guide to the bible and read that at church instead
and now, a reading from the book of Nasa.. 'and in the 2000th year, god created another planet with intelligent life since his first was a complete fuck up'
I used to be (and still sorta am) obsessed with paranormal stuff. The UFO abduction vids and accounts always used to freak me the fuck out. Just thought of being taken away and experimented on was disturbing as hell.
But I never actually thought it could happen.
That being said, I guess it isn't too implausible for another intelligent being to exist on another planet.
but i mean have it written in the mindset of someone in the present time
you know how on 'fantasia 2000', steve martin mentions that when they made the original 'fantasia', it was meant to be a series that they updated, but they just never came back to it. that's what the bible was supposed to be.
my opinion: they realized at a certain point that with the rise of written records instead of folklore, it would be too difficult to perpetuate stories of great "miracles" that nobody actually experienced, so they discontinued the practice and just went with what they already had
idk if its a conspiracy theory per say, but in the near future there will be debate and a push to marry robots.
How near future are we talking about? Because we don't even have robotic intelligence really capable of most basic human interactions. I think it's a little loony to think that marrying robots ever becomes a thing, but to say it's near future? Nah.

you'd be surprised. We were talking about this in my media first year seminar classes last semester. I don't mean like full on- anthropomorphic, adapting, humanoid robots. I mean like even simple simulations, like Siri or an intelligent AI in a videogame. We as a people are becoming more and more connected with out technology and robots on an emotional level. Many people consider their AI's and simulations to be friends even. At a continued rate, eventually people may start to fall in love with those "robots".
Also, it is predicted that robots will replace basically all human jobs, and humans will basically all become computer programmers or tech support specialists.
