my family went above and beyond again for christmas. it amazes me how much my parents spend on christmas considering their somewhat low income. i have an awesome family.
all from my parents:
1. a new snowboard i got back in september or october that was half birthday present and half christmas present 2. 2 books about the zodiac killer that were both written by robert graysmith (his character in the movie Zodiac was the cartoonist who wrote a book about the zodiac murders). in real life he was both a cartoonist and a reporter for one of the San Fransisco newspapers and covered the story extensively 3. Unforgiven on blu-ray 4. The Outlaw Josey Wales on blu-ray 5. The Fearless Vampire Killers on DVD (ended up seeing it shortly after i bought it and i hated it lol oh well) 6. 4 pairs of jeans (which i actually did want and needed) 7. Triple Play card for our local ski resort. it's basically 3 lift tickets at a discounted price 8. Socks (stocking stuffer) (always a crowd pleaser because my socks seem to disappear when their getting washed) 9. 2 Beanies 10. Candy 11. a nice cigar 12. $200

Well my mom paid for my car stereo to be fixed before christmas, so today I got some giftcards to Oberweiss and Tom and Eddie's (local burger chain, very good 10 dollar burgers). Also got slippers (lawl)
We had a new tradition (yikes) last night with my mom's side where everyone was supposed to buy a 20 dollar gift to put in the middle of the room and everyone just take one. Last year it was asexual but this year it was apparently supposed to be guys get get gifts and vice versa for girls, but like half the people didn't know, so it was a mess. I took one that felt stupid and my mom took the one I bought for my brother who wasn't there, so I just traded and got my own (20 dollar best buy gift card). Turns out the gift I had initially picked was screwdrivers. (Lawl)
