Actually, Id argue this. DF are a pretty big band and as a betting man, Id bet they are "bigger" and have more drawing power then SF.

Idk I could be wrong, but i'm relatively sure more casual metal fans are way more familiar with SF than they are with DF. I'm also willing to bet most Hatebreed fans have never heard of DF or at the very least maybe have heard of them but never actually heard their music.

I would disagree. DF are probably the most accessible modern death metal band. When you go to a more extreme show, DF shirts are just as prevalent as Cannibal Corpse shirts. Theyre accessable to the core kids (see: summer slaughter where they have played multiple years and been in a very high slot) and still appeal to many purists (see: mdf where they also have played several times).

Ill get shit for it, but DF are like a death metal hatebreed just with more technocality thrown in and not every song is about tearing down your enemies and building up your walls of perserverance.
