Need a bit of help...Dad's Christmas gift...a record player.

So, I've been terrible every year and get my dad really stupid gifts that lose their luster after a few days. This year I've decided to get him a record player but I don't know anything about them. I'm looking on Amazon (since I have Amazon Prime and shit). I'm willing to spend up to around $150-$170. My dad has a bit of an affinity for anything Sony or black, but yeah, I'm willing to be flexible on that. HELP!

only recommendation i can give you on this is make sure you get a player that you can get replacement needles easy and cheap. over the last couple years i have had 2 players. one was a nice pioneer player that i got for free with a broken needle. could not find a replacement so junked it. other one was bought brand new from Amazon. Brand is Ion and i got it because i can hook it up to the computer. Used to covert records to MP3. overall i like it

i like this one. looks like you can do more with this one that the Ion one. Built in speakers is a plus, and SD reader is a plus. Under $100 too. Pile is a good brand too

I have that exact one, its a good player, never had any issued with it. I've had it for a couple of years now.

FYI: the power button is on the back, I couldnt find that damn thing for anything when I first got it..

I asked someone from radio to help me. This is the best one we came up with my dad's tendency to break things and you can hook it up to a stereo. My dad really doesn't need to convert things.
