i don't think you can overstate devin's talent and rare original voice in metal. i still prefer syl, but his "project" is still an adventure. kinda reminds me of a cross of queensryche and sigh

They're hard to compare...

Obviously if you want an aggression filled, angry, heavy experience you'd go SYL.

But Devin's solo stuff has much more technicality, beauty, and mix of other emotions that make it amazing as well.

The beginning to Kingdom (when the vocals come in) gave me goosebumps the first time i heard it.

I'll always go SYL, but i like everything he's done.
