there was an article about that in one of the local papers recently. dragoncon in atlanta has blown up in recent years, full of people that aren't "nerds", but think that it's cool to be into nerdy shit. i've never been a prototype nerd, but i can see where it would be offensive to have a bunch of spectators coming to lifer events. kinda like bianca at mdf

the only reason why "nerding" became cool was because there was a huge surge of hot girls becoming nerds therefore more guys decided to be nerds. true story.
