theyre really not as influential as i think people think...its not like wed have a major set back in rock music if it wasnt for deep purple.. they are influential but massively influential, id argue that..

I bet if you asked 1000 rock/metal musicians who was a bigger influence, Zeppelin or Deep Purple, more would say Deep Purple.

queen is very unique and have their own sound..very talented band but when it comes to quality songs, like songs that shake you as a person WE WILL WE WILL ROCK YOU doesnt really cut it ( inb4theyhaveothersongs) i know but you get what i mean.. keep in mind i really like queen
