Ok look; I love music in all forms and am constantly finding/hearing about new groups, etc...That being said, I simply can't listen to EVERYTHING out there, and some great stuff I'm sure has missed my ears in the past. Soooo tonight, I am browsing the Albums of the year thread, and decide that I should check out Torche. They are getting high marks from most of the respected (imo) music fans here. I'm halfway through Harmonicraft, and I'm fucking floored. I don't have words for the sounds that are contained therein....Astonishing comes to mind....I realize tastes vary and music is very subjective and a truly personal experience...I wont say "best album ever", but certainly (initially) the most enjoyable CD I've heard in years...It grabs you immediately and high-fives you, reminding you that THIS is why we love music...
