Only downside to Atmos is that their battery is an off size. They wont fit the globe attachments, other vape pens or e cigs. Most of the other brands the batteries are interchangeable.
I was hoping it would have the pin charging vagina (I cant think of the word) but it has its own business going on. also how the fuck do you officially turn this thing off? it says hold the power button ten seconds but that just gets it super hot and then it doesnt seem to do anything.
other than that, its great o far. havent tried and crumble or wax yet though, only dry.
fuck this pen is awesome. poured some lambs bread shake into the chamber and got a fluffy ass exhale. couldnt do this shit with my original gpen or micro.
Pretty sure the Atmos doesnt have an actual lock out or shut off feature, it just times out after 10 seconds or so. There is some "vape" mode that just makes it so when you hit the button it stays on for a set time even if you let go of the button. Its a pain in the ass to get it out of that mode lol. Its a great pen though, although once you try a globe pen you wont want to go back. Its so much easier to tell how good it is working when you can see what is actually burning. With the Atmos you have to either puff it like a cigar or blow through it a tiny bit to see if anything is coming out.
when you say globe pen do you just mean one that has a globe top on it? my buddy has one and it is so much better than my other faggot friend vape pen.
Atmos pro tip - hit the button a little to heat it up before separating the chamber to reload it or stir it. Sometimes if it needs a stir the wax in it can glue it shut a little and pulling it apart will bend the spring. A little heat and it will let go nice and easy.
damn thats a stupid way to have to power it off... just heating the coil till it maxes out. thats one thing Ill give the gpens over this. five click master race.
thanks for the tip though. once I get some creamy goodness Ill try it.
its not really a power off. There is no way to actually lock it out like some others where you click it 5 times. This just prevents you from overheating the element, but if you hit the button again it heats right back up. There is no way to kill the power to prevent accidental pocket use short of removing the battery.
The locking mechanism is in the battery itself, but the Atmos battery has a different thread size than most other pens, so it will be harder to find another battery to fit. Even so, I imagine that they are probably out there for sale somewhere.
I have 2 different ones, an E-Go pen and a microvaped pen. Not much difference, the micro has a very short battery and doesnt lock, and the ego has a longer battery but locks out. You can also get some dildo sized batteries for the globes that count hits and you can adjust the amps and volts that it runs at. I dont have one of those but a few of my friends do. The more power available the better and hotter they seem to hit. You also get a choice of ceramic heating chambers or stainless steels ones. The ceramic seems to work better with the smaller batteries.
