It wasn't hidden so she wasn't snooping, it was behind the door in the spare bedroom and she never goes in there but I guess she went in there to store some of the Christmas lights. Got kinda lazy about hiding it because she knows I smoke and is basically cool about it now.
Anyways, I come home and it's gone. Now I knew someone didn't steal it or anything cause I just smoked the motherfucker Saturday night and I ain't had anybody over since then. So my immediate thought is she found it, got pissed, and tossed it. Started frantically searching everywhere and then when I went downstairs looking in every room, she walks out wit this smug ass smile on her face asking what I lost. So I eventually just straight up asked her where it was and that she better not have tossed it. She fucking loses it and said she was wondering how long it would take me to ask. Had it in her closet. ) Told her to take a fat snap. ) )
one of friend's mom took his vape like 2-3 years ago back when we were in high school and she just now gave it back when he went home to visit this past weekend

I have to wait until I move out to grow. Luckily my lease is up in July. Boutta move to Charlotte and start growing. I got most of my equipment already. Just need seeds, nutrients and soil.
A 4x2x5 ft Mylar tent with proper ventilation, timers and testers, and all the goodies.
I got two 1000W HPS lights and ballasts, one 600W MH bulb, and a 36W LED panel that I gotta figure out how to hang off to the side. I'm thinking about getting another LED panel for the other side of the tent but I won't be growing until August so I'll worry about it then.
I got 4 hydro buckets, thinking about getting another 1-2 after I see how 4 plants goes and if the space will allow for it.
Why the tent? The dimensions of it seem way too small... especially for 2k watts of lights. Are they air cooled hoods? Did the venting include a.c.? Have you grown anything before?
Also, how did you pick the equipment that you have purchased already? Did you research it, talk to local growers or just get what the guy at the hydro store recommended? I know it seems like a lot of questions, but I'm trying to get a baseline on your experience, knowledge and other influences factoring on your decisions.
I heard the reflective shit on the inside of the tents really help. I'm gonna get another one half way into my first grow cycle if everything goes well. I can only fit one light/ballast in the tent. The other is a back up for now, until I get my second tent. I don't wanna put the money into that now. I've already put in about $1100 and I can't even start for a few months.

I wouldn't worry too much about a tent at this point. In the long run it will just restrict you more than anything. Its kind of hard trying to piece together a room without actually having it yet because different spaces will give you different options and have different obstacles to overcome. Fuck a tent though if you can build the room to suit. The ideal grow space is 4'x4' per plant. 4'x2' is going to force the plants to stay smaller. A 5' ceiling isn't going to cut it either... Figure your lights will hang 18" (rough guess) and your dirt pot will be about a foot tall... this means you plant only has about 2.5' room to grow if the tent dimensions are what you posted. I'm not sure if the juice is worth the squeeze at that point.
Also, how did you pick the equipment that you have purchased already? Did you research it, talk to local growers or just get what the guy at the hydro store recommended? I thought I was gonna have to get a random roommate so sound/light-proof and odor-free were pretty big factors but my friend is gonna move to Charlotte with me and watch the grow when I'm not around so I don't have to worry about that anymore. Once I did a little more research, I knew I needed a little more room than a box. The tent is the ideal size for the closet in my future place. If everything goes well, I'll have a space double that size to grow. The equipment is pretty much the most cost efficient stuff I could find online that had good reviews. I knew I wanted to grow the stickiest of the icky so I got a 600W MH light for vegetative and 1000W HPS for flowering. I've made myself pretty familiar with all of the light/timing requirements and care required for each of the stages. Just need to get the experience under my belt.

It's a little expensive but it seems legit. You think it's a rip off? I'm not really sure which nutrients are better than others.
The language they use screams snake oil to me. Anything g that "doubles your thc" or gives you "30% bigger harvest" or similar claims seems suspect to me because they dont know what I'm already doing. If your weed is already coming out 30% thc there is no product that is going to get you to 60%. 4 lbs off of 10 plants isn't anything to brag about either lol.I'm sure if you weren't feeding them anything but water you would see a boost, but any decent nute line up is going to have most of that shit in it already.
