When I got cited for weed, they just made me take the first offender's program and it got expunged a year later. It did cost $450, plus the court fees ($180) so it was a pain in the ass but the first offenders program teaches you how to talk to cops. It's pretty funny actually. You get caught for drugs, and then for 20 hours, all they do is teach you how to get away with doing drugs.
