You niggas are faggots about weed. Weed prices are different everywhere. Doesn't mean you're getting ripped off. Dawg I'd cream my jeans for $70 Quarters. I pay $60 for 8THS, and that's standard price. Well, my nigga can hook 8ths up for $50, but still.

Hold up son. If you want top shelf medical weed, we aren't talking about throwing a couple of seeds in the dirt in the back yard. It takes a lot of money to do it right. Thousands in lights and ballasts, fans, ducting, dehumidifiers, air conditioning, reverse osmosis water systems etc. 10-15 bottles of nutes, some of which are over $200 for a quart. There is a couple hundred just in dirt, promix and other shit needed for the soil. A CO2 system will add another grand to the bill if you run it, not to mention joy of opening the electric bill every month. Even with all that money invested, a small crop, bad end product or total crop failure can still be issues if you don't know what you are doing. Probably less than 10% of the people I know who grow pot are actually good at it.
Don't ever think a grower doesn't pay for his weed.

If you're growing just for yourself and spending that much, you are a fucking moron.
If you're selling and making more than you spend, then it's worth it.
you are telling me it doesnt pay for itself. aight.
Thats not what I said. I'm just saying that growing can be expensive as fuck. That doesn't mean it can't be profitable.
HYPOTHETICALLY speaking only (oh hai Bianca :-h ) running 12 plants (6 in veg, 6 in flower) you can harvest 6 plants every 2 months. 6 plants @ 1/2 lb each would be 3 lbs x 6 harvests a year = 18 lbs a year...@ $200 a z = $3,200 a lb = $57,600 a year for a single patient grow. A caregiver can have up to 5 patients plus himself, so that authorizes 72 plants. $57,600 x 6 = $345,600 a year if the feds don't come get ya. Pretend for a moment that Brad and Dayna were growing balls out as a team, together they could double that to almost $700,000 a year. Yeah, money can be made.

Most of the equipment is single purchase though, so the biggest cost is up front getting started. Once that is covered, its mostly the cost of nutes, dirt and the electric bill. Even if you don't sell, you can still potentially save money depending on your smoking habits and growing set up. You could run one cycle and smoke for a year.

Most of the weed I've smelled smells sweet to me. I have no idea about strains.
