There is no way of knowing what a dog is going to do. If it becomes aggressive, officers are trained to assume the worst, and to protect themselves. If the owners cared about their dog, they wouldn't have let it wander around outside with no supervision in the first place.

It's still a preposterous statement. If anything, mentally challenged people can be over aggressive because they lack the mental capacity to rationalize their emotions. Ask anyone who has she worked at an assisted living facility if those people can pose a threat.

Kids get shot, the elderly get tazered, tomorrow it will be another one somewhere.

With the direction half or more are headed, I would have to agree. I don't understand why the hell they're getting like this. Was it ever this bad over ten years ago? I would love to believe there's a good amount of decent/good cops out there but I'm seeing less of it lately. Also, inb4they'rejustdefendingthemselvesfromdangah
It's hard to say if the fuckery is increasing, or if it is just less in the shadows due to cell phone cameras and social media. Seems like it is getting worse though. The National Authorization Defense Act is beyond scary as fuck.
