So...I just bought a drum set.

I just bought a used Burswood drum set off of my friend for cheap. I don't know how to play yet, but I figured, fuck it, why not. Any suggestions for sites or whatever to get me started? Right now it is a basic kit, only 1 bass drum, etc.

Yeah, I cant afford it. I'm lucky I could afford getting the set itself. I'm trying to find a friend or a friend of a friend to teach me.

YouTube, or Rock Band, Rock Band will kick you off perfectly as far as basic rhythms, limb seperation, Etc.

You don't need anyone to teach you. I got my first set when i was young and learned all on my own.

Just like i always tell my friends or anyone else,you either got it or you don't.

Trust me, I'm having fun. I got them to have fun and to hit something besides my wall when I don't have access to a pit.

And Erik, my parents don't let Rock Band in my house. Only real instruments.
