Eddie is the one that pisses me off the most. The whole episode he bitches and moans about how his band didn't make the top 5, or how he lost at the fucktarded stump the trunk game. Or he also never shuts up about UFO or Kiss.

Yeah my biggest issue is with Eddie. I think it'd be super chill if the other two maybe did a podcast or some shit so they could cover more extreme/underground metal and stuff.

I remember this one episode they were addressing the issue about more underground and extreme music being on the show and they said something about VH1 not wanting it. But for some reason I get the feeling Eddie Trunk is really against it because he expressed how he hates Death Metal or music in general with guttural vocals. Even on the episode with Jamey Jasta it seemed Don and Jim did the whole show and Eddie just kind of sat around doing nothing.

i wouldn't give a fuck if it was called 'that hard rock show', but calling it a metal show when it's just a bunch of poseur dinosaurs reminiscing about 80's cheese rock rubs me the wrong way.

I enjoy the show, but that's because i know its not going to have anything to underground or extreme. Some of the best episodes have been with some of the least metal people, such as brian johnson or paul rodgers. I like a lot of the music they cover (sans a majority of the hair metal), so while its not a ton of variety i can enjoy it. They dont take themselves too seriously ('cept eddie i guess), and it can be funny. Its not perfect, but it's the only one that's trying, so i'll always give them credit for that
