Ecuador has granted Wikileaks founder Julian Assange asylum in the face to threats from the UK. Britain said there going to arrest him anyways.

it's awesome they had the courage to stand up to the US and their pawns in the UK and sweden. It's blatantly obvious this is politically motivated considering the UK is threatening to break international law to extradite someone who is not even charged with any crime.

Love that Ecuador is doing this. Let's get some real legal shit going against Assange before anyone can fuck him up. I bet the US/UK hate this though, it keeps him in the news, and that's bad news for them. Once more people know that WikiLeaks actually can be a service to democracy, then maybe countries can improve on it.

Lol, it's a violation of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, basically what the UN pays most attention to.

If the UK raids the embassy the blowback will be brutal for them. it puts their embassy's around the world in serious jeporady of retaliation attacks, as well as it being a crime under UN law.
