Jessie was pretty manipulated by walt. Even pulling the trigger on Gale was an incredible manipulation by walt. And ever since he killed Gale, Jessie conscience tore him up. He couldn't live with himself, where walt gave 0 fucks about his executions.
The final episode of 'Breaking Bad' had MASSIVE ratings on Sunday night pulling in a total audience of 10.3 million viewers, with 6.7 million of that coming in the coveted demo, adults 18-49
According to EW.com, the season 4 finale of 'Breaking Bad' (The Walt vs. Gus finale) brought in just 1.9 milloin viewers and even THAT was considered big numbers for an AMC show. So, the season 5 finale was up a ridiculously astounding 442% over the season 4 finale. Also, according to AdAge.com, AMC was charging around $400,000 for a 30 second commercial for the finale which is pon par with what big shows like 'American Idol' and 'Modern Family' charge
lol at the opening scene of Walt in the snow covered car.... Does Vince even winter? The episode was good but not great, I didn't care much for Walt's final plan.. that machine gun contraption left too much shit up to chance. Some chemistry related shit would have been better imo. Also at the end, it would have been awesome if instead of just checking on the last cook, he finished the batch Jesse was cooking. It would have also been great if in his final moments, when he put his hand on the tank, it was to squish another fly )
Yeah I was surprised for how much of a stretch that plan was. Being able to park in the right spot, knowing that where he parks is right where shit goes down, all the nazis being in that same area, all of them standing, not a single one dropping after the shots started...well other than Todd.
