OMG, that is one patriotic person!!! i live in a military town and i've never seen anything this extreme. idk for sure what we are doing yet, maybe going to the celebration on post, free concert and carnival.... but nothing is set in stone.

I'm going to sleep in. Then relax, grill out in the evening sit back on my porch and watch everyone in the neighborhood shoot off their fireworks

You're lucky. Im pretty sure NY has banned fireworks.

Big fireworks aren't allowed in most places but you ask just about any cop and they will say on the 4th they don't give a fuck what you shoot

unless you live in killeen, when i lived out in the country the sheriffs would come down our private drive to watch our firework displays.

I'll be working. Fireworks are banned in NY but it doesn't stop anyone wake lol

stops my neighbors. and me. but i've never been big on fireworks unless im involved in a firework war. then it's fun. but with small kids, I cant really do that stuff anymore.

I live right on the boarder of PA. So people around here just buy 'em in PA and set 'em off in NY. I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for it around here. Even though they are illegal. Too bad I won't see any this year. Fuck work.

a lot of towns near me are cancelling their big displays because it's been so dry, they don't want to take a chance on it setting off fires. we go to the display that goes off over the 290 Expressway at Harlem. it's awesome during the finale, everyone on the highway stops/pulls over to watch.
