Ripping audio from video files

So I have a few dvds that I'd like to get the audio files from cuz itunes won't just let me move over the video with song or whatever
anyone know how I can get the audio file from it and move the audio to itunes?
sorry if this seems stupid, like I've said in other threads, I don't do a lot with this stuff

Well, first you'll have to rip the DVD to your computer. It should be in VOB format. Then you get a VOB to AVI converter google: VOB to AVI Freeware, there's a ton of those programs. Then google the same except this time make it AVI to MP3 converter. Once the AVI is converted to MP3 you can drag and drop it into iTunes.
