The big places like Lockheed, Boeing, Northrop.....I'm not going to be terribly picky, but I would prefer to work in space systems and work in propulsion.

That sounds like you want to try and get hired at NASA.... Space and propulsion.
I don't know if you know this, but I worked for both Boeing and Northop Grumman. Boeing is an awful company to work for, and you would be wise to avoid it like the plague. Northrop Grumman on the other hand was a really sweet company to work for. However I only did stuff like working on Predator UAV or Global Hawk. Kinda cool I guess, but I much more enjoyed designing satellites.

you probably wont get hired but it would be a dream place for you to work.
Interesting perspective. Thanks for the opinion. I did have a much better conversation with Northrop than any other company at the career fair I went to this fall. I am putting in apps at as many places as possible. SpaceX is another company I would absolutely love to work for, but they are very selective and it would likely mean moving to California. The dream scenario would be working around the Marshall Space Center in Huntsville.

Yeah I would Imagine SpaceX is a lot like BlueOrigin. Both are almost impossible to get hired into. You should really apply to both, perhaps you will get lucky. The one thing I learned about starting your career- Don't be picky on location. Be picky on the work and experience you will gain. It will take you far in your professional career. Taking a lessor job for a better location, is a good way to destroy your marketability.
I think Northrop Grumman still has a pension! That's unheard of these days. Also, I've heard Lockheed is a fantastic company to work for as well. They are doing a lot of space related stuff in Colorado. and probably the bay area too.
your aunt should know that even minature pigs get big hopefully she wont abandon it like everyone else who believes those falacies that they stay tiny do if its not 'teacup' itll get big and even teacups dont stay 'teacup' size for long cute pig though
