the thing is, my dad will not under any circumstances get on a plane so he would have to drive for a day and a half to get to florida while everyone else takes a plane everyone whos going lives in either NJ or NY so it was just a matter of convienience my mom was worried about the waters being too rough in NYC but she went on the same cruise last year and said it was fine

Weird he wont get on a plane; It's safer then driving. But yeah we would have taken a longer cruise from NYC if the price was comparable. Like if it would cost us 2k to fly down to florida, then we would pay 2k to cruise down instead. But for us, 5k more wasnt worth it. I can understand the appeal to people doing that though. Cruises are awesome! Have you ever been on one? You'll love it if so! Do as many activities as you can. Like go to karaoke and the shows and stuff like that. Lots of fun even if you dont participate.

Yeah, it's supposed to be like 80 and I'll be on the lawn. I'm bringing a hoodie though. Hopefully it doesn't rain like it did at MMRBQ 2010. That was slightly unpleasant.
