I did, but quit.

I didnt know if I should go with "No" or " I did, but quit", because "I did, but quit" seems like something a recent non-smoker would say. I did smoke a couple packs a day for several years... but I havent had a single one for over 8 years.

Honestly, I could fall under "No" and "I did, but quit" and "Only when i'm drunk" I never actually picked up the habit of smoking. But I have smoked maybe 10 in my lifetime.
