Question for people in North Carolina

I'm moving to Charlotte in a few months for law school and I was wondering if there are any good venues for metal concerts in NC? I'm willing to drive just wondering where people go for shows.

currently Charlotte is pretty much the only place that gets shows. Raleigh used to get a lot but Volume 11 stopped booking shows
