Today is my brothers birthday. we have been on non-speaking terms for about a year. problem is that i can't have a normal conversation with him without it becoming a religious debate (i've talked about him on this board before). He has not acknowledged the birth of samuel. no congrats, no phone call, no email, no letter. Should i call him to wish him a happy birthday, or just leave it be? don't want to end up spending 4 hours on the phone with him debating religion
