2 dead, others wounded in Pittsburgh psych hospital shooting
Two people were killed, including a gunman, and several others were wounded this afternoon in a shooting a University of Pittsburgh psychiatric hospital, officials say.
Update at 3:53 p.m. ET: Two people are dead, including a gunman who opened fire in the lobby of the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, says a University of Pittsburgh Medical Center spokesman who was briefed by police, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting. At least five other people were wounded.
Reports of a second gunman were incorrect, police said.
Update at 3:37 p.m. ET: WPXI-TV, citing police sources, reports that two of the five people shot are dead, including a suspect, and that "gunmen may also be holding several people hostage." One gunman was reportedly found dead in a hospital hallway.
SWAT teams are on the scene. The station also says the hospital is no longer locked down.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review says one suspect is dead, but that has not been confirmed. A second gunman may be involved in the shooting at the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in Oakland, Pa., the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette says.
At least five people were shot, including one police officer who suffered a graze wound, police said.
The hospital complex and nearby buildings, including an elementary school, are on lockdown.
