In the hardcore scene, everyone is excepted, thats what I love about it so much. Again, yous seem to be the ones judging. Leah even admits not knowing any straightedge people but calls them assholes. Thats not what its like, you guys just have a negative complex about them. straightedge people in the hc punk scene are really loving kind individuals who will do anything to help a friend, and they throwdown in the pit harder then anyone i ever seent. really.... my guitar player in my band is straight edge, has XXX tattoos and shit. Awesome guy. Everyones cool straightedge or not, youre gonna get a few dicks and mostly cool people. I just think you guys watch too many movies or something about straightedge peoples.

i just cant figure out why a person who doesnt have any substance abuse issues couldnt just enjoy a beer or two from time to time, but instead go out of their way to not have one.. half the peeps i know who are 'straight edge' are just the dorks from high school who didnt go to parties n stuff so now if they say their straight edge it sounds better than just being non part going to dorks
