Nu-metal act Limp Bizkit have just signed to Cash Money Records — the home of successful hip-hip acts such as Busta Rhymes, Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Wayne. Having focused strictly on hip-hop for the last 20 years, Cash Money Records are taking a chance on Fred Durst and company for the band’s next album.
There is no question that Limp Bizkit were one of the most successful bands in the world at one point. Having sold an estimated 33 million albums worldwide, Cash Money’s decision to sign the band certainly has a foundation. However, the last Limp Bizkit album to go Platinum in the U.S. was 2003′s ‘Results May Vary.’
Since then, the band released ‘The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1),’ which was the band’s first album not to achieve at least Gold status in the U.S., and ‘Gold Cobra,’ which only sold 63,000 copies in the United States.
Cash Money artist and rap phenomenon Lil’ Wayne isn’t shy about show his affinity for rock music, having strapped on a guitar himself at times.

Stupid move.
No matter what you think of cash money or lw they are great businessmen. The last cd was the worst thing I ever heard but maybe this will make them step it up. As for rage getting signed that would be the shit, means they would have to tour again.
