Take this as a bragging/attention thread, whatever, it's really not, I legitimately can't pick.
But what happened is, my Step Dad's Mom died back in September. And she was rich, like really rich. Owned 2 houses that both valued over $1,000,000. Now, she had 4 kids, so the inheritance money was split 4 ways, but nonetheless, we're really well off financially now. And, my Step Dad was a boss and said he'll get me some Music equipment I've been wanting as a gift, and gave me a $1,500 limit. He said if I go a bit over ($1,600-$1,800.), that that's fine as well.
(inb4 spoiled, 'cause this is literally the first time something like this has happened.)
Anyways, these are my options, and I can't decide.
Blue Bottle Rocket Stage Two Condenser Microphone - $1,600.
Blue Bottle Rocket Stage One Condenser Microphone (Cheaper and lower quality version of the Stage Two.) - $800 + Blue ROBBIE Microphone Preamp - $800.
OR:
Blue ROBBIE Microphone Preamp - $800 + AKAI MPK88 MIDI Controller Keyboard - $800.

scratch the first thing because why get one thing when you can get 2 for the same amount
DO IT
The first
if you already have a decent preamp or condensor then get the midi board. If not, get the mics first.
My Mic however, isn't the best, it was $100, and I do like the quality, but it's far from professional. Same with my interface, love it, and the preamps in it are nice, but this ROBBIE would destroy all eight of them. It's one preamp and $400 more than what I paid for a full interface with 8 preamps. This preamp would be running through my interface.
