I wish people would get that through their heads. I also wish they would get it through their heads that I don't want children, and if I ever had any I would be 40 and I'd be adopting. Me and my boyfriend talked about it, and it seems doubtful that we ever will have any at all. We want to travel the world together and get the most out of life. Children would mess all of that up.

i wish people were able to have two lifetimes lol...with one i would want to not have kids or nothin like that and just travel and be like a vagabond and just do whatever i want but in the other i would want to settle down have a nice family have grandchildren etc....

Try to figure out what you want. I mean yea, having a kid at 19 wasn't the greatest thing ever. But having a child is the greatest thing ever, to me. Not everyone is the same though. And I respect people highly who don't want to have children.

I'm glad someone understands this. I'm tired of people telling me that I'll change my mind. They still insist this even though I'll tell them I'm on birth control, if that fails I'm getting an abortion, and as soon as I'm 29 I'm getting my tubes tied or my uterus taken out.
