I had a beta once and got some fish that get along with betas to with with em.

He died the next day because all the other fish ganged up on him and ate him. There were tiny bones on the bottom. ;_;

Yeah, that's what I had. But as I was getting him I wanted some other fish in a separate tank and the guy that worked there was like "Oh here's all the fish that get along with betas!" and so he helped me pick out some more fish. And they were all smaller than that beta, but they managed to eat him.

Either that the fish grew legs and walked out of there.
