Thrown Into Exile. I mean, there's worse metalcore, this is more in the vein of AILD and Unearth than most Sumerian stuff. Not terrible. But the thing is they're not signed, and they barely have an EP coming out, so the Mayhem dudes must have dug 'em up, which is good for them.

As far as new bands go, I'd argue Huntress are the best with the exception of Amon Amarth of course. They're decent traditional metal.

I haven't defended Mayhem as a tour in years. I just happen to go because there are always enough bands that I like and it's 20 minutes away.

I disagreed because I think there's enough good bands to warrant a lawn ticket. THat's the meaning of "agreeing" or "disagreeing".

For 20 bucks i'd rather go to a club show with 3-4 bands I like than sit through 6 hours of bad music just to watch 3 bands I like play for 90 minutes total.

i get it.. but mayhem is just a fun day to relax in the sun and just chill out and just have a fun day.. its not about getting in the best music possible... my friends wont go to real metal shows so its just a fun day to tailgate with all my friends get drunk, mosh to somewhat decent bands like amon amarth and machine head and then chill on the lawn and listen to some decent bands.. we have a great time every year
