The only thing that really annoys me is between the buried and me in that list. As big of a fan I am I do not want to see them on a side stage somewhere they need to be headlining or co headlining their own tour where they can play a longer set. I saw them play a half hour at ozzfest and it was alright but when I saw them play a long set it was simply amazing
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
No, I'd say they'd be right before the stage headliner, assuming there are 2 actual side stages and not that Sumerian bullshit stage, if in that case they'd be in Whitechapel's place.
didn't Troy Sanders dispel that there was beef between the two during the Soundwave run a few months back? I could've sworn I read an interview that everything was blown way out of proportion and everybody was cool.
never saw that. it wouldn't surprise me. i know members of mastodon and have met system several times. they're all professional musicians. it just seems like doing a fest together like that is likely to bring it up a lot and open some sores.
that said, i think some combo of soad/apc/deftones/mastodon on the main stage would be a best case scenario for next year
