I just looked up footage of the sumerian stage at the Bay Area show last year, and it looks like Mountain View got an actual stage last year. Hoping it's the same this year.
That is true. But it was kind of small. Plus the side stages are in the parking lot at my venue, so that might mean there's more room. This is what it was like last year
If my venue had done something like that I would have watched upon a burning body. I still think the tent stage is a waste especially when a good band like scorpion child end up playing it.
