I'm going with my neighbor again for Mayhem and while he doesn't really listen to much metal (his favorite "heavy" band is Asking Alexandria) he's really been digging Mastodon a lot as of late and is looking forward to them more than anyone else on the tour. I was pretty impressed.
well, i guess when you compare them against mayhemfest main stage acts, you could call them great. the only band that i could argue is better than mastodon is slayer
