It was pretty lame. The reason it makes sense for wikipedia or reddit to do that is because they have a large user-base that actually might be some of the senators. Here we are a dozen people who openly oppose SOPA. What sort of message was that supposed to send to senators? Nothing.

We put up a generic message on a ton of our forums, including our own site. The idea was to get the general public more aware of this issue by putting information about it on as many sites as possible. That's what we did. Why don't you cry about it?
