No way - parts of it (in the wealthy areas) are nice, but other areas are old and run down and filthy
Pretty much anywhere in the London metro area is fine on a whole, and yeah, places out near the top like Kilburn where the station is shitty is just as shitty as the place. But on a whole it's better than the subway. I spent years on the underground without knowing any of the smells that i smelled on the subway existed.
