Idk if he remembers but I said before we've gotten really good at preparing and camping at Bonnaroo and in recent years have room for other people to join us. Last year we met this dude from Maine that just got a licence to grow for a dispensary and couldn't afford to get caught traveling with anything illegal. He came completely by himself with just a tent and got stuck in the boonies with no shade and just a single person tent he brought. Dude was borderline heatstroke when he met up with my friend on a hunt for acid. He stayed with us for the weekend after that.
If anyone is actually considering going, you need to know what you are actually getting in to. Climate change has not been friendly to Tennessee. It's usually mid to upper 90s every day and humid as fuck. Temp drops quick at night so you'll bundle up and and then it is bright and hit as fuck by 7am. If you aren't ready for it, it truly is hell on Earth and it might be a bad time a lot of the time in between the stuff you wanted to see. It really is just the fucking best place though
Camp also turned in to more of a home base where you might run in to your people if you break off and do your own thing and end up back there. There's this place called The Grove that is just a section of trees and art and ambient music where I threw up my hammock every night and slept.
Oh i cant wait for the butthurt when this tour is mostly variations of the last tours posters. It looks like tonights is the adi brooklyn print re done and some people are already upset. I cant believe people would expect mostly new ones for a short run they are doing.
As long as I don’t get the variation of Chicago or that hot garbage that miles did for his other one I’m straight. Hopefully I get that Brandi chick everyone wants.
I asked the artist who did the Chicago posters if we could send our posters in to get doodled. He’s thinking about it.
Also, sad news about Neil Peart but I’m a terrible person sometimes. Like Trump in the instant aftermath of 911 asking if his tower was now the tallest one in NY, my first thought was that Danny is now the best drummer alive
i have a serious problem. I fly back from a 9 day vacation in orlando the 31st. Im looking at flights in and out of new orleans the next day for the last show. Lmao
