I'll be honest there's been a a couple of times like yeah I'll listen to some tool. Then I search Spotify and nothing comes up and I lose interest and listen to something else

Yeah i hate it. I dont hve any music on my phone so i use spotfy and what not but if i want to listen to tool i have to use youtube which murders my data.

Yep. I use spotify for like 90% of my music listening. Even when i buy a cd or digital album i still defer to spotify for those songs for convienience.
