He ripped some artist off for imagery they used in the liner notes for Aenema. The guy sued the band for credit and when the insurance company they expected to cover the suit found out what he did, they sued the band as well. Tool ended up having to pay a shitload of money not just for legal fees but for the settlement, and it prevented them from moving forward with new work and tour stuff for several years.
This is also the second major lawsuit cycle they were involved in. Back in-between Aenema and Lateralus they sued their label, which is why it took so long between releases. They ended up with a new contract based off it, then fired their manager. Then their manager sued them for unpaid fees.
You're stupid that's obviously all a joke. You think just because tool announced they are announcing dates no where near me that I'm still not excited to be sitting second row for a band you'll never see?
