tool have written some of the most appealing songs I can ever imagine existing, but between maynards uptightness, the expensive tickets, the mad rush to get them, the few dates that there are, and the repetitive sets, and having seen them twice, Ive lost a lot of interest.
Surprised a hipster like you doesn't secretly masturbate to prison sex or something. If you think tool is dad rock then lol. Let me know when your band is putting out an album ten years after their last and still selling out arenas.

damn, sure would love a complacent fan base. Lateralus is still flames. I just think it's funny how much Tool exploits their fan base.
Tool is the most overrated band since The Beatles, lets be honest here.
That doesn't make them bad. They're def good, but they aren't the greatest band that ever lived. They're glorified radio rock with prog tendencies, when you break it down. Subtract the prog and you get Chevelle or Breaking Benjamin. Which I like Tool, Chevelle, and Breaking Benjamin... I'm just sayin'.
one time I've traveled more than 2 hours for a show is when my dad and I went to this shitty rock fest in Pomona to see Tool, Alice In Chains, and some other bands idk. Tool and Linkin Park were the headliners, and Tool went on last. By the time they went on I was so exhausted I was nodding off during their set. Kind of a shame cuz I was really excited then to see them. Fuckin way she goes
