today is veterans day and i am a vet. my present to myself is to go to Anthrax tonight. my wife is having a horrible day with the baby and doesn't want me to go. i have allready seen anthrax, testament and death angel multiple times. person that i am suppose to go with might bail. should i do the right thing and stay home and help the wife, or go to the concert?

I dont think the act of skipping the concert will have be appreciated, because it sounds like it is something she is almost expecting you to do because she is having a shitty day. Doing shit like this gets you brownie points for the first year after marriage... after that, no appreciation.

Going to the show will get you a week of bitch.

I'd probably say a week of bitch plus seeing the concert is better then, skipping the show to listen to her sulk. Although the best option would be to take her since you friend is going to bail...
