I think the makers of this particular advertisement did that on purpose for their own amusement. "LOL DUDE, look! It looks like the F totally wants to stick his wang in the O's mouth!"

yeah... I think almost every single character on that game is some slight modification of some internet meme. Their probably loling that Nintendo allowed the game to even be released.
